The Pasta Bridge Competition, organized within our university's AXS Career Community under the sponsorship of Kuzey Boru and with the contributions of our Civil Engineering faculty member Prof. Dr. Ceyhun Aksoy, was successfully completed with intense participation and a highly competitive environment. As a result of the evaluation based on static analysis and design criteria, awards were given to the winning students.

 

In the competition, the team “Statik Spagetti” consisting of Elif Usman, Hilal Sırt, Dailya Seyid, Mory Toure, Cevat Turhan was deemed worthy of the first prize for their successful engineering approach and structural performance.

 

The team “Kalıpçılar” consisting of Muhammed İsmail Aksu, Ali Eren Kaya, Mustafa Tarık Bülbül, Mustafa Selek, Ahmet Emre Uç took second place with their meticulous work in design and application processes, while the team “Yıkılmadık Ayaktayız” consisting of Aslı Nisanur Akar, Nursena Çolak, Hatice Miray Bıçak, Elif Sude Sarıkaya achieved third place with their durability-focused design.

 

The organization, which enabled future engineering candidates to transform their theoretical knowledge into practice, also contributed to the development of teamwork, design and problem-solving skills.
