Our academics, who continue their work within our university, have drawn attention throughout 2025 with the studies they have carried out to strengthen public–university–industry cooperation. In this context, a total of 165 assignments were carried out during the year with 68 academics, making a significant contribution to transforming our university’s knowledge accumulation into social and economic value.
Of the assignments made, 69 were implemented within the scope of projects, and among these projects, 8 consisted of KOSGEB-supported projects and 24 consisted of TÜBİTAK-supported projects. The project-based work of the academics enabled the production of concrete outputs that strengthened university–industry interaction in the fields of R&D, innovation, and technology transfer.
Assignments outside the scope of projects also revealed the university’s active role within the ecosystem. In this framework, 20 assignments were carried out within the body of the KTÜN Technology Transfer Office (TTO), 64 assignments in Innopark, 70 assignments in Konya Technopark, 10 assignments within the scope of Law No. 5746, and 1 assignment in other technology development zones.
These duties undertaken by our academics on different platforms are of great importance in terms of the commercialization of knowledge, the development of innovative products and processes, and contributing to regional development. Thanks to these multifaceted collaborations established with university, public, and industry stakeholders, our university continues to strengthen its vision as a research university while also making qualified contributions to the country’s technology and innovation ecosystem.
In his statement, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik, noted that the assignments carried out reflect the university’s vision and said: “The strong collaborations our academics have established with the public sector and industry show that our university is not only a structure that produces knowledge, but also one that transforms this knowledge into social benefit. We will continue to increase and sustain our research, innovation, and technology transfer-oriented work,” he said.
