The graduation excitement for the year 2026 has begun at our university.

 

The ceremony, which started with the Faculty of Computer and Informatics, which is giving its second graduates this year, was attended by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik, our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Nurettin Çetinkaya, the Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Informatics, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Servet Kıran, Secretary General Kamil Gök, faculty members, and many parents.

 

At the enthusiastic ceremony held at the Gelişim Campus Indoor Sports Hall, the faculty bade farewell to 230 of its students as they embarked on their professional lives.

 

Speaking before the ceremony, the Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Informatics, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Servet Kıran, stated that the students graduated well-equipped and said the following: "Dear parents, four years ago you entrusted your children to us. We also made a great effort to raise them in the best possible way and prepare them for their professional lives. I would like to thank, first of all, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik, for the opportunities he provided us, and to you for raising such valuable children."

 

"THIS FACULTY IS THE APPLE OF OUR EYE"

 

Later, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik, took the podium and emphasized that the Faculty of Computer and Informatics is the faculty that accepts students with the highest scores at the university, saying, "This faculty is the apple of our eye."

 

Rector Çelik included the following statements in his speech: "Our university, with the slogan 'Pioneer of Development', continues its work with the vision of being a research university that produces science and technology, offering human and environment-oriented solutions for the development and prosperity of society. Today, we share the graduation excitement with the valuable academicians of our Faculty of Computer and Informatics, our esteemed students, and their devoted families who are always there for them. Our faculty, which is giving its second graduates this year, aims to raise individuals equipped with the knowledge, skills, and ethical standards required by the age in the fields of informatics, technology, and management. In this direction, we work with determination and resolve to best prepare our students for the future."

 

"Dear students, with the determination, patience, and persistence you have shown for four years, you have successfully completed an important educational process. During this process, you have not only gained professional skills; you have also improved your analytical thinking skills, learned to take responsibility, and taken strong steps towards becoming individuals who will shape the future. I sincerely congratulate each of you for your dedication and achievements. May your path be clear and your success everlasting."

 

After the speeches, awards were presented to the students who ranked first in the faculty and departments.

 

The program ended with a cap-throwing ceremony.
