Machinery and Metal Technologies

Advancing technology has begun to be used in the field of agriculture. In this context, the Department of Machinery and Metal Technologies, Agricultural Machinery Program, invited Baibars Mekatronik Aviation Industry Inc., based in Mersin, to our college to closely follow and learn about developments in the development of civilian rotary-wing unmanned aerial vehicles, especially spraying drones. Doğan ARICI and Bünyamin ARICI, the company's Konya Regional Managers, shared valuable information about spraying drones with the students of the agricultural machinery program. The students answered various questions. They demonstrated a short test flight of the agricultural drone and introduced the spraying system. We organized a technical trip to the 2025 Konya Agricultural Fair for our 1st and 2nd year students studying in the Agricultural Machinery Program of the Department of Machinery and Metal Technologies.
